A gathering is always sweeter when accompanied with some homemade dessert. Last week we planned to go to the village on weekend; all the family was there, so I thought baking a good batch of chocolate brownies will do us good.
I cut the brownies into squares and served them with some vanilla and strawberry ice creams. Personally, I prefer them plain, or with some strawberries.
Here’s the recipe:
- 100g butter, chopped
- 200g dark chocolate chopped
- 4 eggs
- 250g caster sugar
- 100g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 30g cocoa
Preheat oven to 180C. Melt butter and chocolate in a bain-marie. Cool. Whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in chocolate mix until it’s all combined. Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa into the egg mixture and fold.
Pour into square pan covered with a parshment paper and bake for 25- 30 minutes.
Cool and cut. Enjoy.
