I just wanna wish you all a Happy Valentine. Those cookies are extremely delicious, rich and chocolatey. I love them tender and soft; how do you like your cookie, soft or crunchy?!
Also, for this holiday, I love to offer sweets I have baked, as gifts to my beloved one.
Chocolate sweet hearts ( from Martha Stewart.com )
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 113 g dark chocolate
- 60 g butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
Whisk flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt. Over simmering water, melt in a bowl, butter, chocolate and sugar. Let cool.
Add the egg to the chocolate mixture. Beat on low speed until combined. Gradually stir in flour, form a ball and divide. Roll on parchment paper and chill for half an hour.
Preheat oven to 180 C and bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes. Leave for few minutes to cool then transform to a cooling rack.
Enjoy with someone you love.
