Creamy Pesto Fettucine With Mushrooms And Tomatoes

You know how much I love pasta; I dont mind having every day a different meal. This dish is extremely delicious, we were so delighted, so satisfied and will definitely do it again.

The meal combines different delicious ingredients: cream, pesto sauce, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and fettucine. It has a silky, creamy, smooth texture. Imagine pesto sauce with cream, a great pleasure!!

I found this recipe, while browsing the food blogs, on a very interesting, nice blog, This week for dinner, with beautiful pictures and nice recipes. Finding a delicious pasta recipe is like finding a treasure for me.

Omelette With Mushrooms, Parsley & Parmesan

Usually I eat omelettes and eggs for breakfast but that time I prepared this omelette for lunch; why not, it’s a full, rich, savoury meal.

I also like scrambled eggs, and sometimes I sauté some sliced mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with olive oil before pouring over the eggs.

For this recipe, I beat in a bowl 2 eggs, season with salt and pepper and then I stir in some grated parmesan. Set aside. 

In a hot skillet, I drizzle some olive oil, sautée the mushrooms, then after few minutes I add 2 chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle some chopped parsley. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, without adding olive oil, on low heat, add the eggs and let cook for couple of minutes until golden then flip to the other side. Add the mushroom mixture on top and some parmesan.

Persimmon, Banana Smoothie

I like to start my day with something refreshing like a smoothie to boost my energy. So I mixed one banana with one persimmon (without the skin) and the juice of half an orange.

It is sweet, smooth, refreshing drink. Hope you like it.

Fruits from our garden

It is amazing how Nature can be so generous, so wonderful when it comes to giving us what we need to continue breathing and growing, and to improve our lifestyle. I cherish every moment spent in nature, every beautiful scene, every breeze, every sunlight, every tree. Ohh, how I love trees!. How I love the small cedar I planted in our home garden 3 years ago and that is growing splendidly.

It is the sweetest persimmon I have ever taste... so delicious...

We’ve been spending almost every weekend in the village. And lately, I’ve been feeling a little more nostalgic and emotional when it comes to my home village, especially when the weekend ends and we have to go back to our routinely daily life in the city. I think, these emotions are a result to the major life change that’s gonna occur in my life, hopefully, soon. Yes, I said hopefully, because it’s the kind of shift that we need, to experience more opportunities, more potentials in our life.

That what leaves me with a tear in my eye, every time I leave my home village. Is it a fear of not returning there for a long period of time, or is it something else, well I’m not sure!!

Looks like jewels, their sourish, sweet taste combined is so delicious, I just can't have enough.

A crowned fruit...!!

Fall is here. And our days spent at the village are almost over. Winter days are a bit harsh there. Some seasonal fruits, persimmon, pomegranates, are ripened now. So I took the advantage to take some pictures and share them with you in this post. No recipes, just photos. Hope you enjoy them.
